So, I started this bucket list website. Its kind of cool, and I like writing out what I want to do in life, and seeing it.
I hope to conquer some of them :)

Its a really snowy day today, Im staying inside until late afternoon because I'm really feeling under the weather, but its Tip day! :) More money to add to my savings!
I've decided that it is perfectly ok to get SNAP money for food, so I'm still waiting on my application to go through! It would be really nice to not have to worry about buying groceries for a while!
Have a wonderful day and be blessed!

So, its been about a year. I almost forgot about this thing!
Life has been crazy.
Starbucks is interesting. I still like it, but its getting tough to pay the bills working so little!
*Prayers for a good raise or a new job would be great! :)*
Today is my boyfriend, Ryan, and my 1 year anniversary dating! Its been an amazing year and he is quite an amazing man! I've learned so much from him and with him! I am excited to see where I lives take us next as we follow Gods plan!
*I'm praying that we continue to pursue God as he continue to get to know each other*
Music has been both very hard and a blessing. Satan likes to tell us Christian music majors that we aren't good enough and that we should give up. Thankfully, God has placed people in our lives to support us! I finally have a teacher that believes in me and sees my full potential.
Sometimes we come across those teachers that tell you they believe in you, but really, they just have to say that. I see that a lot at my school in the worship department. They don't truly look at your talent sometimes....sometimes they just pick who they like or who's siblings they know. Its not fair. But we can't change it.
*Praying for Ryan and myself and all the other music students at this school as we continue to pursue futures in music, and for the teachers, that God would open their eyes to give the right students the right opportunities and be able to support EVERY student equally!*
Thankfully my voice teacher is an amazing woman who knows so much and is so supportive!
*Praying for all of you today!*
Have a good night and a good day tomorrow!

The Best Things about Living in a Big City
Here are some things that I just LOVE about living in a big city...
.... You don't need a clock in your front room because..
A) The big city clock is constantly going off
B) The TCF clock/Thermometer is right outside your window.
.... Who needs an alarm clock when there are sirens this early in the morning going right by your
window
.... It is so wonderful that that someone likes to keep our city well groomed, especially when they
are weed whacking at 7 am right under your window. What a sweetheart.
.... You never feel down about yourself when there are plenty of guys to tell you "How dang good
you look today" or asking you "Hey girl, you gotta boyfriennn?" How nice of them.
.... You save gas by walking or biking because there is a load of traffic.
.... You make lots of friends at school because you shouldn't walk anywhere by yourself.
.... You can't have pets in your apartment, but its ok!, There are plenty of mice to share!
.... You come to realize how lucky you are to know nice people when you are in the city
surrounded by busy people who don't care about you.
.... It is so nice to see a diversity of people on the public transportation, you can even learn
everything about their lives, who doesn't love loud obnoxious people?
.... The fact that the city is probably completely polluted makes a great excuse to have more
beautiful parks right in the middle of things.
....You really get to see a diversity of lifestyles, some have it great and everyone else is struggling.
*Disclaimer.....This might have been sarcastic.

Choices, People, and Plans
It amazes me that I am more than half way done with my second semester at North Central University. I guess so much has happened, that It seemed to go by too fast. Since last semester, my roommate and I have moved to another hall. Phillips dorms were nice, but miller offers a different experience and a cheaper price! We have a pretty small room, but we don't need much space. I feel like this semester I have done nothing but study (which I should be doing right now because I have a test in Psych tomoro!) and practice music. I am excited about how my music is progressing and how God is growing me as a musician, using HIS gifts to HIS glory. Everyone treats music so differently here than they did in high school, and yet there is still so much talent. It blows my mind how talented some of the students are here! Only a goal to look up to! (:
Registering for classes and filling out FASFA for next year, along with extreme amounts of prayer and consulting with spiritual mentors, has made me really think about the choice to double major. It is extremely expensive and takes a lot of work. I have decided to study only Music Performance and enhance the gift God has given me. Why stop Intercultural Studies? Being a missionary or working overseas to HIS glory does not require a major. I feel like no matter what I do, whether it be ministering overseas or ministry here in the States, I know that it will involve music. Choosing not to be an ICS major in no way takes away the possibility of ministering overseas. My ministry would be music, and I know God will use me where He needs me! I am excited to become the best musician I can be so that He can put me where he needs me in His church.
This last month has been full of new plans and new people. Tomorrow, my boyfriend Ryan and I will have our first month anniversary. This has been quite a month, but it has gone by so fast! He is such a blessing to me and such a great friend! He has such a heart for God and I am excited to continue to get to know him! This month, I also got a job with Starbucks downtown! This is such a blessing and I thank God everyday for the opportunity! I start on April 3rd! Next Tuesday! I am excited and nervous and grateful all at the same time! This means, I will be living in Minneapolis this summer at NCU and continuing to work at Starbucks! So thankful! (:
I have also decided that in the next three years, I really want to make it a goal to visit Europe. I am so amazed at Gods world and the people He has created and their different cultures. Backpacking through Europe has always been a dream, and I have decided to set aside a little bit of money each paycheck for Europe and slowly move toward that goal. It seems like such a big goal, but I know that in His timing things will work out! (: I am still also waiting on confirmation for a missions trip and waiting for HIM to lead me to the right one!
You are all in my prayers, and I thank you for your continued prayers! Be blessed today, and everyday!
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord," Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future." Be excited about HIS plan! (:

The end of the Beginning.
What a weekend! So much to think about! I went to Thanksgiving with the beautiful Thorson family, who by the way, I am very thankful for! I got sick at my first/only day of work...oops! I guess that wasn't meant to be! And lastly, I visited the Lovely Sarah James in Eau Claire, WI! It was so fun to visit her city and see the beautiful downtown! Her sister, Hanna, also gave me a free haircut! God blesses us in the smallest little ways!
We have a lot of work to do, and have been working hard as the semester ends! It is so crazy to think that I will be home visiting friends and family and worshiping at First Christian again for a few weeks! I can not believe that almost one semester of college is done! I have learned so much and grown so much closer to my Heavenly Father! He is doing amazing things in my heart, and I could not feel more blessed, loved, or passionate about what He will continue to do! I can't imagine something better than this, but I know God has great plans for greater things!
You are all such a blessing, and I can not believe that soon I will be home with most of you, even if for a short while! Seeing your faces will be such a blessing! I am praying for wisdom, healing, and happiness for each of you, and that the Lord would show you his will! Love you!

Job!
I am employed temporarily at American Eagle! Such a blessing! In fact, so much of a blessing that it has created a dilemma! Either way, I am thankful for the opportunity to at least have a temporary job! This is actually the first time I have gone through a hiring experience. I know that I have this job through God's blessings!
